Strategic
Value Creation
"The premise of this book is simple. Businesses that fail to create value won’t survive."

About the book
We wish we could have read this book 15 years ago. We have written it to help those like our younger selves, who are tasked with driving value creation in business.
Successful businesses make value creation their lifeblood. They realise it is the reason they exist and why they leave competitors eating their dust, or even make the competition irrelevant. An in-depth understanding of the value you create, and for whom, versus the value you need to create in the future can make the difference between success and failure for any organization.
Value creation is close to impossible if you don’t have the right strategy and an integrated, action-focused plan to execute it. Designing and executing a winning strategy is hard. The majority of businesses don’t get it right if they do it at all. Companies can lose weeks and months embroiled in strategy planning, only to find that it has failed to deliver 12 to 18 months, or even five years down the line. The truth is that strategy rarely lives up to the hype.
“A fun book to read! It is informative and personal. The passion with which it is written gives life to its theory and concepts. This embodies of one of its ideas, that strategy is about passion as passion powers people to do great things.”
