Value Creation Planning
Forged on aspiration. Finessed in isolation. Forgotten in a moment.
Value Creation Plans (VCPs) are the synthesis of your strategy. But all too often, they are nothing but a list of lofty goals, heavy in spreadsheet modelling and lacking in outward customer and competitor insight.
VCPs should be robust and deliverable plans showing how a company plans to achieve value growth within an investor’s hold period. And just like any strategy or plan, they should be living – continually updated with live data.

Board Reporting
Too long, too dull, too ugly, too opaque and always too late.
The board is the pinnacle of management. It’s where the big questions are asked and the big decisions are made. Discussions should be productive, open and informed by up-to-date and relevant facts.
The reality is anything but. Members often have no time to read lengthy, overloaded board reports. The big issues get lost in a mass of operational detail. Numbers are everywhere but insight is nowhere.
