James Don Carolis
Director
James joined Ārahi in 2022 as a member of the founding team. He sits on Ārahi’s Executive Committee and is Director of the Ārahi Method and Content (AMAC) team.
James is responsible for leading client delivery with a focus on value creation, strategy design and execution. James is also a specialist in the design and creation of Board Packs, leading Ārahi’s work in the assessment and redesign of materials used by management teams, their boards, and investors.
James started his career as an economist in the UK Government Economic Service, before moving into the Transfer Pricing and Economic Consulting practice at PwC. He subsequently became a management consultant at A.T. Kearney which is where he met Rupert.
James spent 14 years at Concentra Analytics on the journey from early start up, through to growth and scale up, involving three rounds of venture investment and £41m private equity investment in 2018, at which point James was Managing Director of the analytics and technology brand, TrueCue.
James currently serves as a non-executive on the board of trustees at St. Margaret’s Hospice in Somerset.
He holds a BA in Economics from Exeter University, an MA in Economics with distinction from Nottingham University and an MBA from Cambridge University.
